Aeschynomene aspera sering berbentuk kelenjar-puber, kelopaknya panjang 7 – 10 mm x lebar 5 – 6 mm, standar panjang 10 – 16 mm x lebar 8 – 15 mm, sayap panjang 7 – 12 mm x lebar 4 – 5 mm dan segmen buahnya berduri bintil.
